8x8

Role: Brand and Communication Specialist

In this role, I worked as the in house creative team for the recruitment department. I drove 8x8’s employer brand through videos, animations, and graphics for the company’s career website and social media channels to establish 8x8 as an attractive place to work.

Increased impressions on Instagram and Facebook Life page by 35% by curating engaging content and managing accounts. Managed 8x8’s Glassdoor page by responding to reviews, requesting employee feedback, and removing fake ratings, resulting in an improved rating of 4.1 stars.

I proposed the idea of interviewing 8x8's Chief Technology Officer, who has been with the company since its inception, to share the story of 8x8. The interview was then edited into a video, designed to inspire and engage new employees by showcasing the company's rich history during the onboarding process.

I developed the concept of personalized welcome videos to add a unique, personal touch to our new hires' experience. I created over 300 of these videos, and they were an overwhelming success, resonating strongly with our new team members.

I designed job postings to assist recruiters in effectively advertising available positions at 8x8 on social channels such as LinkedIn.

As part of managing 8x8's social media, I produced videos that spotlighted various employee programs, showcasing the company's culture and initiatives.

8x8 organized numerous employee competitions, which I helped manage. I also created content to promote these initiatives, raising awareness and fostering a strong company culture.

I designed billboards for a campaign to boost hires in Romania. After their launch, we ran a competition where employees posted photos with the billboards on social media for a chance to win prizes, including 8x8 swag and gift cards.

The internship program was a key initiative within the company, and I created content to promote and showcase it.
